Description
Libertia formosa white, A robust evergreen plant forming a mass of narrowly sword-shaped, leathery leaves; bowl-shaped white flowers 3cm wide are borne in clusters on stiff stems in late spring and early summer. Full sun to light shade on well drained soil – they dislike a waterlogged soil. Cut out old foliage to reveal new growth. You can leave the old flower spikes to mature and form attractive seed heads which may self seed if the conditions are right. Divide congested plants in spring or autumn.
