Description
Hydrangea serrata thunbergii ‘Plena’
A remarkable, rare and much coveted cultivar that was obtained from cultivation
in Japan some number of years ago. It is a tidy
small shrub with pale green ovate-serrated leaves complimented by
remarkable sterile clusters of large double florets, flushed with shades
of pink/blue, from November until April. Easily cultivated in sun or
shade in any good moist soil. Height 1.2m. Spread 1.5cm.
