Grevillea ‘Copper rocket’. Tall, erect shrub that may reach a height of three metres with a spread of two metres.
The leaves are broadly oblong with 5-9 pointed lobes. Young growth has a coppery colour. In spring and summer plants produce toothbrush-shaped flowers. The blooms are rich in nectar and attract honeyeaters. Prune lightly after flowering. The parents, of this attractive hybrid, are thought to be Grevillea barklyana and either Grevillea acanthifolia or Grevillea rivularis.
Grevillea Copper Rocket is a very hardy plant that could be cultivated as a screen or hedge plant.
