Description
Hydrangea serrata “Tiara” compact
Compact shrub to 1mtr. The leaves are green with crimson red when in full sun, producing beautiful red autumn tonings. The fertile flowers are bluish, the sterile ray flowers are arranged in a row, opening mauve turning blue or pink depending on soil pH. A promising novelty. Long flowering period and older flowers remain attractive for some months turning antique colours late summer into autumn.
Bred by Maurice Foster of Kent, UK 1992
