Description
Lilac syringa – Wolfii – Wolfs or manchurian lilac.
Lilacs are popular showy plants favoured for their colour, fragrance
and versatility as either garden specimens or planted as informal
hedges. A deciduous shrub growing to approximately 3 metres tall and wide with
arching panicles of small, highly fragrant mauve/lilac flowers with a lovely perfume massed in loose pyramidal heads in mid spring to early summer. The dense foliage has mid to dark green leaves which are heart shaped and grow up to 10cm long. A
fully frost hardy and easy to maintain plant that is adaptable to most
soil types in most gardens. Full sun – Part shade
