Description

Hydrangea macrophylla ”Setsuka-yae” Rare lacecap variety. Syn Domotoi.

A moderate growing smaller shrub to 1 mtr (3feet) and rarely up to 1.4 mtr (4.5 feet). Prefering Acidic soils below 6.0 pH. Featuring rare half double individual sterile flowers in brilliant blue. Corymbs are small and irregular but makes an attractive, collectible and interesting cultivar. Summer-Autumn flowering in an easterly aspect or filtered light.

Synonyms “Domotoi” & “Taika yae”.
