Ceratostigma griffithii is a small bushy low spreading shrub with brilliant blue star-shaped flowers, coming from purple clusters, on sometimes red stems. Foliage is oval shaped, bright to deep green, turning a fiery red in the autumn. Ceratostigma griffithii is a colourful shrub for border edging, growing on a bank or in a container on the patio in full sun – part shade. Cut back to ground level early spring to maintain health and size.
